Terms and conditions of use of content in Journals and Books on L & H Scientific
Please note that the information outlined below refers to the general guidelines
but your institution may have agreed a variation to this. If in doubt, please check
with your librarian.
A. Access, use and your responsibilities
You may access, download, store, search and print hard copies of text. Copying must
be limited to making a single printed copy or electronic copies of a reasonable
number of individual articles, chapters or other similar items. No text may be made
available to non-Authorized users, either for commercial reward or free of charge.
Authorized users in commercial organizations have access solely for internal research,
testing or training purposes or for personal use in accordance with these terms
and conditions.
Authorized users in educational institutions have access solely for private study
or research for a non-commercial purpose. Such authorized users may use the service
for educational resources such as 'course packs' provided that electronic copies
are removed or deleted at the end of the semester or term in which the relevant
course ends. Such authorized users may make brief quotations from the content of
the journals, with the customary acknowledgement of the source, and copy and transmit
content from individual online articles in 'person to person' and non-systematic
scholarly exchanges of information
You may not alter, recompile, resell, redistribute,
supply, publish or republish (beyond the brief quotations permitted above) or engage
in systematic or programmatic copying, any Journal text, output, search results
or other information from any Journal, including, without limitation, copyright,
proprietary or other legal notices, in any form or medium. Downloading an entire
issue of a journal, systematic downloading, service bureau redistribution services,
posting to file-sharing sites, printing for a for-fee-service purpose, document
delivery services and/or the systematic making of print or electronic copies for
transmission to non-Authorized users are prohibited. All rights not expressly granted
are reserved to L & H Scientific.
B. Partner titles
There may be specific conditions relating to journals published by L & H on behalf
of other societies or organizations. Please check the journal homepage for further
information (https://lhscientificpublishing.com/).
C. Copyright
The Journals, Articles and their partial content, including Abstracts, multimedia
content etc, are either copyright of L & H Scientific or are made available under
license and are subject to all applicable copyright, database protection and other
rights of the copyright owners and publishers under the laws of USA and other countries.
Where Articles or any part of their content, including figures and images, are made
available under any Creative Commons or other licenses then the terms of those licenses
must be adhered to at all times. In particular, copyright notices in the Journals,
Articles or partial content may not be removed, obscured or modified in any way.
You shall claim no ownership by reason of your use of or access to the Journals,
Articles or partial content.

Requests for multiple copies of articles
published by L & H for lecture and classroom purposes are better handled by the
Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), which deals with the licensing and collection
of fees from copying and scanning of published material in USA. The CCC acts on
L & H's behalf in this area.
Names, images and logos identifying L & H are proprietary marks of L & H or its
licensors. Other names, images, figures and logos identifying third parties, and
their information, products and services, are the proprietary marks of third parties.
Copying or using L & H's logos and/or any third party logos or third party owned
information, images and figures is not permitted without the prior written approval
of the relevant third party.
