User Terms and Conditions
These terms govern use of content in L&H journals and books. Institutional agreements may include variations, so users should check with their librarian or administrator when in doubt.
Access, Use, and Responsibilities
Users may access, download, store, search, and print text. Copying must be limited to a single printed copy or electronic copies of a reasonable number of individual articles, chapters, or similar items. Content may not be made available to non-authorized users, either for commercial reward or free of charge.
Authorized users in commercial organizations may use the content only for internal research, testing, training, or personal use. Authorized users in educational institutions may use the service for private study or non-commercial research, and may include content in course packs if electronic copies are removed or deleted at the end of the relevant course term.
Authorized users may make brief quotations with customary acknowledgement of the source, and may share content from individual online articles in person-to-person, non-systematic scholarly exchanges of information.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not alter, recompile, resell, redistribute, supply, publish, republish, or systematically copy journal text, book text, search results, or other L&H content. Downloading an entire issue, systematic downloading, service-bureau redistribution, posting to file-sharing sites, for-fee printing, document delivery, and systematic transmission to non-authorized users are prohibited. All rights not expressly granted are reserved to L&H Scientific.
Partner Titles
Some journals may have specific conditions because they are published by L&H on behalf of other societies or organizations. Users should check the relevant journal homepage for further information.
Copyright and Permissions
Journals, articles, abstracts, multimedia content, figures, images, and other materials are protected by applicable copyright, database, and other rights. Where content is made available under a Creative Commons or other license, the terms of that license must be followed. Copyright notices may not be removed, obscured, or modified.
Requests for permission to reuse L&H journal material, including whole articles or portions of articles, should be sent to albertluo@lhscientificpublishing.com. Requests for multiple classroom copies may be handled through the Copyright Clearance Center where applicable.
Names, images, and logos identifying L&H are proprietary marks of L&H or its licensors. Third-party names, images, figures, logos, information, products, and services remain the proprietary marks or property of their respective owners.
