Choose and confirm the publication route

  1. Complete and sign the Copyright Form on page 1.
  2. On page 2, identify the same article and select one route: standard subscription, expedited subscription, or Open Access. Sign as the author or authorized agent for all authors.
  3. Return both pages to the editorial office handling the accepted manuscript. The publisher countersigns the addendum; retain the confirmed copy.

How copyright and Open Access fit together

The base form transfers copyright to L&H Scientific Publishing. For an agreed Open Access article, the publisher-issued addendum provides for publication under CC BY 4.0, unless both parties sign a different license agreement before publication. It expressly supplements the base form and gives the agreed Open Access terms precedence over conflicting reuse restrictions. The copyright transfer does not restrict reuse permitted by that public license.

The final PDF and article landing page must display matching copyright-holder and license notices and the license link. Open Access articles must be readable without login. Third-party material excluded from the license must be clearly marked. The signed addendum applies to the identified article; it does not automatically relicense legacy or subscription content.
