The Editor has decided to retract the article by Riddhi Mohan Bora and Bharat Bhushan Sharma, published in Journal of Applied Nonlinear Dynamics, 14(2), 313–341 (2025), https://doi.org/10.5890/JAND.2025.06.007.
An editorial examination could not independently verify the source cited as reference [123], “Shukla, M. and Sharma, B. Synchronization of fractional order chua’s circuit via backstepping approach.” The published entry lacks a year, publication venue, pages, and a DOI or other source link. The source and its support for the review’s discussion of backstepping control for synchronization remain unverified.
The corresponding author was notified of these concerns on September 27, 2026 and was asked to provide the original source, complete bibliographic details, and an explanation of its use within seven calendar days. No response addressing these concerns had been received by the date of this notice.
The unresolved concern prevents the Editor from establishing the reliability of the supporting literature for the affected discussion. The Editor has determined that a correction would not adequately address this concern and has decided to retract the article to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
